Today marks 1 YEAR teaching zumba at Humble Warrior Yoga Studio in georgetown What a fast year, a hectic year, lots of ups and downs. I knew from the moment I met Michele Tremblay that her space would be the perfect place for us! Fast forward a year later and my followers/students merged with her students and we all have become one big, happy, supportive family! Just goes to show that everything does happen for a reason!

With that said happy 1 year of ZUMBA to Tina Aia Smith, Michele, and michelle M. And a shout out to Lee Ann White-Sisolak and Maryellen Mooney as you ladies joined shortly after!

We are CELEBRATING tonight for class 5:30pm! You don’t want to miss it! Could this be your first class with us?!? That’s okay! Think about it- this time next year you’ll be hitting your 1 year! Real talk: since the Binge Eating program I joined almost 2 years ago, I like to promote this concept I learned about called joyful movement. That’s what we called exercise. It wasn’t called a work out, a run/walk, lifting weights, training session, sport, the gym/class. Of course it could be all those but you did those things because the MOVEMENT brought JOY to your life! You dont feel obligated, forced, stuck in, frustrated when you participate in these things. That is what ZUMBA is all about. I have come across many amazing people through zumba and every single one of them say they love it because it’s FUN!! It brings JOY to their life! Why do workout you hate or dread- pick or try something different, that you have always wanted to do, and let that motivate you to keep coming back! Who’s with me with this whole joyful movement idea?!?!

Meet me at Humble Warrior Yoga Studio located in Georgtown TONIGHT (and Every wednesday) 5:30!! This is us last week bringing all the fun with our red, white, and blue patriotic class! Look at those smiles!!!

Ever want to try a Zumba class but you have been nervous about feeling uncomfortable in large groups or worried that you cant follow along because you have “two left feet” or maybe you aren’t even sure where to start/know of any classes close by. I have the answers for you. I teach zumba classes 3 times a week- mondays, Wednesday’s and saturdays at 3 different locations on the northshore. smaller class size, the most welcoming ladies, super fun, easy to follow, for all fitness levels Try the first class for FREE! The Easter bunny made a special appearance today in zumba gold and zumba chair! I was late this year as I forgot last Monday was patriots day, but hey better late then never. I handed out eggs, wore my ears and bunny pants, and even a cotton tail (a white loofa) that fell off!! Hahah . Here is my little speech I gave at the beginning of class!

“Thank you for joining me every Monday morning for group EGGercise aka zumba. You are all a fine EGGample of what zumba is all about. At this point i would calll you all EGGsperts. You have fun, you move your body to EGG-Cert energy and you EGG-press yourselves In a way that brings so much positivity. I love teaching for so mant reasons It is an EGG-cellent way to start off a new week. Every class, you EGG-ceed my EGG-pectations EGG-specially when you all hit the same dance move at the same time. Each and every one of you are EGGceptional in your own way ! I am so blessed and EGG-cited to be your instructor! LETS HAVE EGG-hillerating Class! You ready?!? “

What a fun class tonight!!! I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really like Halloween- I’m more of a Christmas kind of gal- but Halloween zumba is one of my favorite traditions!! We rocked out to all the zumba music but also to ghostbusters, I put a spell on you, de-o, Dracula, monster mash, I want candy, superstition, and thriller!!! Way to kick some ass ladies (and humoring me) and celebrating with me!!! Happy Halloween to you all!!!
