Let's talk about ear infections and the question parents rarely get to ask:
"WHY does my child keep getting them?"
If your child has had 3 or more ear infections in the past year, they've likely been through multiple rounds of antibiotics. Maybe tubes have been recommended.
And nobody has asked: what's causing the recurring infections?
Here's what the research and clinical experience consistently show:
The Eustachian tube - responsible for draining fluid from the middle ear - can be affected by dysfunction in the upper cervical spine. Tension or restriction in that area (commonly from birth, falls, or developmental stress) can impair drainage.
When the ear can't drain properly, fluid accumulates. Bacteria thrive in that environment. Infections develop.
A study published in the Journal of Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics found that following a course of chiropractic care, 93% of children showed improvement in ear infection frequency.
We're not replacing your pediatrician. We're answering the question nobody else is asking: WHY does this keep happening?
