I earned my Master's degree in Oriental Medicine (herbal therapy and acupuncture emphasis) from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. I also have dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Nutrition and Biology. I am certified to practice acupuncture and associated Chinese medical techniques in the state of Wisconsin. In addition, I have done extensive training with the International Cupping Therapy Association, achieving their highest level of certification. The culmination of this training has given me a strong understanding and ability to help patients using traditional Chinese medicine. Disclaimer:

It was an absolutely amazing experience to attend the 10th Annual Native Nations Nursing, Helpers, and Healers Summit. This year’s theme, “Culture as Medicine,” emphasized integrating Indigenous wisdom with collaborative, evidence-based practices to promote health and well-being for Indigenous communities and planetary health.
The summit featured Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer, renowned author of Braiding Sweetgrass and The Serviceberry, as the keynote speaker. Dr. Kimmerer shared insights on reciprocity, community, and gratitude inspired by the natural world.
This event welcomed tribal members, health professionals, students, and faculty, campus and community members, and advocates who are committed to holistic, relational approaches to health.

Allergies, stress, and lung support for me today! Judging by my tongue, I definitely need to resolve some lung heat issues. Air quality combined with allergies have definitely been a challenge for me lately! Anyone else?
