When catastrophic wildfires swept through Southern California in January 2025, forcing nearly 200,000 people to evacuate, Lisa remained calm in the face of chaos. As flames approached Altadena, she carefully helped her client, Carol, gather essentials and navigate to safety as evacuation orders came through.

“The LA wildfires were devastating for so many people,” shared Carol’s daughter, Gayle. “It ended up being almost five days of evacuation, and during that time we did not have to worry about my Mom because we knew that she was in the loving, caring hands of Lisa. We knew that she was safe.”

In Carol’s words, “Lisa is not just a Caregiver — she is one of the greatest blessings in my life. She protects my dignity, calms my worries, and fills my days with laughter and companionship. What is an ACT? An ACT, is an on call caregiver. The perfect candidate would already be a PCA or CNA, be 18 or older, have a current DL, have reliable transportation, current auto insurance, be able to pass a drug screen/background check, and have open availability.

This position is also not strictly in Meridian. That is where our office is located.

You will be going to clients homes based on caregiver call ins.

Duties include housekeeping, meal prep, personal care, hygiene assistance, and companionship.

Schedule Opportunities:

Gold ACT is available at all times, day and night, during the 5 (or more) day period. ACT will travel to any client inside the offices locations. ACT must be available two weekends each month. Starting pay for this position: $20, pay is Bi-weekly.

OR

Silver ACT schedule opportunities are:

Option 1: 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week

Option 2: 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week

JOB DUTIES
We are Non Skilled In Home Care. We provide: Basic Housekeeping, Laundry, Errands, Meal Prep, Companionship, and Assist with Personal Care. You will go into the clients home and provide the tasks on their care plans. Each clients’ care plan could vary, due to their needs.

Our goal is to provide help in the homes of individuals to maintain their quality of life, so they are able to remain in their homes.

QUALIFICATIONS
Drivers License or State issued ID (Some States Require DL, ONLY!)
Reliable Transportation
Valid Auto insurance, with your name listed on the policy (ONLY for certain states)
