Under-eye bags aren’t always from lack of sleep. They’re often caused by genetics or aging, when fat pads beneath the eyes become more visible. Lifestyle factors can make puffiness worse, but they don’t create the permanent bulges you see here.

👁️ Lower blepharoplasty with fat removal directly addresses these bags — smoothing and refreshing the lower eyelids for a brighter, more awake look.

💡 Fillers can help mild hollows, but they can’t remove bulging fat (and sometimes make it look heavier). Surgery is the gold standard for lasting results.

After nine days off the grid in Quetico Provincial Park, Dr. Parfitt is back in the clinic this week.

Every five years, he and his sons set out on a wilderness adventure—canoeing, portaging, and making space for connection that’s hard to come by in everyday life. It’s a tradition rooted in presence, intention, and love—and one that means the world to him.
