Every time someone walks through our red doors, they’re stepping into a legacy that began with one incredible woman: Gilda Radner.

After her own cancer diagnosis, Gilda dreamed of a place where no one would face cancer alone. That dream became Gilda’s Club. ❤️

She once said:
“Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.”

That spirit is still at the heart of everything we do by showing up for the unknown, stronger together.

Who’s ready for a little friendly competition… Wisconsin style?

Join us this Sunday, March 8, at 3 PM for a Meat Raffle at The Lone Girl Brewing Company in Waunakee! All proceeds will benefit Gilda’s Club Wisconsin.

Grab a pint, raise a paddle, and you just might head home with steaks, seafood, or other high-value prizes, all while supporting free cancer support programs for individuals and families across 36 counties in Wisconsin.

It’s simple: great beer, seltzers, and food, great people, and a great cause.

You'll get an update on our programs, learn about our plans for the future, and hear from a few of our members. You'll also have the chance to ask questions.

Great news from the American Cancer Society. For the first time, nearly 70% of people diagnosed with cancer now live five years or more after diagnosis.

That is something to celebrate. It also means more people are stepping into life after cancer and learning how to navigate what comes next. Finding a new normal, managing lasting side effects, and reconnecting with community all take support.

At Gilda’s Club Wisconsin, we are here for this growing community, every step of the way. 💛

Last Thursday, we came together to celebrate! We savored delicious Italian food from the Italian American Women’s Club, enjoyed the incredible sounds of James Crockett Vocals, honored Nina Braovac as our ABCD (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty) Award winner, cheered for 6AM Marketing as our Partnership of the Year, and gave a heartfelt thank you to our 100+ Hour Volunteers.

Volunteers are truly the heart of Gilda's Club Wisconsin. 💕 We couldn’t do what we do without you—thank you for supporting families facing cancer every day!

How cool is this?

For the second year in a row, the Middleton High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team is stepping up in a big way by using the sport they love to make a real difference for families facing cancer. Through the Points with a Purpose fundraiser, these student-athletes are turning hustle on the court into hope for our community.

This event is especially meaningful to senior Aaron Gepner and his family, who experienced firsthand the support of Gilda’s Club Wisconsin when Aaron’s dad was going through treatment. What began as a personal connection has grown into a powerful, team-wide commitment to give back.

We are so incredibly grateful to Aaron and his family, the entire Middleton High School Boys Basketball Team, and the dedicated MHS staff working hard behind the scenes to bring this event to life. Your leadership, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond inspire us all.

Now here’s where you come in!

Join them this Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 12:30–3:00 PM for an afternoon of fun competition featuring a 3v3 tournament, half-court contest, free throw contest, and 3-point contest. The event is open to 8th–12th-grade participants, making it a high-energy way for middle and high school students in Middleton and surrounding communities to get involved, compete, and make an impact.

We are so back in 2026 and SO happy to be back with our friends! 💛

Our February Tough Friends Art Club workshops were an absolute blast as we brought back all the nostalgic vibes with velvet poster coloring as our theme. Think the smell of markers, bright colors, and that throwback 90’s magic. ✨

We gathered with more than 124 young adult cancer friends from 29 states to color, laugh, play trivia, listen to music, and just be together again. The creative energy was unmatched, and the vibes? Immaculate. Where else do you get to do art AND see a live possum cam?!

There’s something so special about reconnecting with this community, making art side by side (even from across the country) and creating space to just hang out and have fun. We’re beyond grateful for every opportunity to be together again.

Huge thanks to our incredible partners Gilda's Club Middle Tennessee and Chelsey Gomez (ohyouresotough), and to our generous sponsors Children's Wisconsin, Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis and Tennessee Arts Commission for helping make the magic happen. 💫

Gilda's Club members gathered in the art room on Tuesday for "Therapeutic Art: Winter Mixed Media Collage." With guidance from registered art therapist Molly Linn-Miller, the group created lovely winter scenes using mixed media. Each left with their own unique creation!

Happy Valentine's Day to our donors, volunteers, members, and community partners. Because of you, more than 1,300 folks impacted by cancer joined our programs throughout 2025 (a 21% increase over 2024).

One of those members recently shared:

"Gilda's is a place of hope and support. The care and compassion they show each person is such a blessing. During the moments of uncertainty and sadness they shine with comfort and the light of hope."
