Pose Breakdown: Pyramid Pose (Parsvottanasana)

A humbling blend of strength, stability, and surrender—Pyramid Pose invites you to ground through your legs and soften into introspection.

🔹 How to Set Up:
1️⃣ Start in a low lunge, then step your back foot in and slightly out, hips facing forward
2️⃣ Straighten both legs, keeping a micro-bend in the front knee
3️⃣ Square your hips—draw the right hip back and the left hip forward
4️⃣ Lengthen your spine as you hinge at the hips
5️⃣ Hands can rest on blocks, the floor, or in reverse prayer behind the back

⚡ Common Mistakes & Fixes:
🚫 Hips opening to the side → Actively draw the front hip back and back hip forward
🚫 Over-rounding the spine → Lift halfway first to find length, then fold
🚫 Locking the front knee → Keep a soft bend to protect the joint
