There’s a moment in practice where you stop doing… and start receiving.

A little support.
A gentle nudge.
A reminder that you don’t have to force your way deeper.

Hands-on assists aren’t about pushing you further — they’re about helping you feel more clearly. Creating space. Offering guidance. Letting your body soften into something it might not access on its own.

Always optional.
Always intentional.
Always offered with care.

This is the work beneath the surface.

We’re usually open on holidays.
A little sweat, a little movement, a little tradition.

This Easter… we’re doing something different.

We’re closing.

Not because we couldn’t fill a class.
Not because we didn’t think about it.
But because rest matters too.

Time with family.
Time outside.
Time doing absolutely nothing.

Yoga doesn’t only live in the studio.
Sometimes the practice is knowing when to pause.

We’ll see you back on the mat soon.

Some teachers say “Namaste.”
Some say “Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.”
Some simply say, “Thank you.”
Some say “Be well.”
Some chant “Om.”

There’s no single “right” way to end a yoga practice.

Because the closing isn’t about the word—it’s about the intention behind it.

A moment to pause.
To acknowledge what just moved through you.
To soften the edges of effort and return to something quieter.

It’s a transition…
from doing to being,
from the shared energy of the room back into your own life.

And just like the movement… the way you close your practice is personal too.

If your teacher doesn’t say “Namaste,” that doesn’t mean you can’t.
If a different word—or no word at all—feels true for you, honor that.

This practice is yours.

Different words.
Different rituals.
Same purpose.

To close the practice with care.

This isn’t about intensity.

We add sandbags so you can feel more supported…
more grounded…
more aware.

In Yin, it’s not about doing more.
It’s about feeling more.

You’ll see a familiar face holding space on Tuesday mornings.

Courtney will be guiding our 9:30 am Yin class for the next few weeks, and we’re so excited for you to practice with her.

If you’ve taken her class before, you already know. If not, this is your sign to come check it out.

Not every practice is about pushing.

Some days it’s about slowing down enough to actually feel what’s there.

Gentle Yoga gives you space for that.

The part you didn’t know you needed.

The lights dim.
The room quiets.
Cold towel on your forehead.

And for a moment… nothing is being asked of you.

Closing your eyes in practice isn’t about disconnecting.

It’s about turning your attention inward—
noticing your breath, your body, your thoughts.

So instead of focusing on what it looks like…
you can actually feel what’s happening.
