Did you know that dementia patients can significantly benefit from an animal companion? It has been studied and confirmed that animals can slow the progression of dementia/Alzheimers!
Yesterday we experienced a FIRST in my company. We introduced a cat to our dementia patient. She is doing WONDERFUL with her new cat. She named her Molly. 🩷
Molly is very active and playful for our patient to giggle with, Molly has also slept all night with our patient! 🥹🩷
