On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the sacred gift of femininity. Today, we celebrate all women—mothers, spiritual mothers, those who walk in faith with others, and those who nurture life in different but equally sacred, ways.

While many women are blessed with the sacred gift of motherhood, others serve quietly and faithfully, reflecting God’s love and grace in every form. Each woman’s calling is a unique reflection of God’s beautiful design, and each role is a path of holiness, love, and service.

We are deeply grateful to walk alongside the mothers in our care, women who embrace the gift of life with unwavering faith and love. We also honor the women on our team, whose dedication and compassion help bring new life into the world.

Today marks the beginning of Lent, a season of reflection, renewal, and deepening our faith. As we receive the ashes, we are reminded of our humanity and God’s infinite love for us. “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” These words call us to turn our hearts toward prayer, penance, and service.

At Morning Star Birth Center, we honor this sacred time as we accompany expectant families on their own journeys of new life. Just as Lent is a season of transformation, each birth is a miracle that reminds us of God’s constant presence and grace in our lives.

This Lent, we pray for:

✨ Expectant mothers, that they may find strength and peace in their journey.

✨ Fathers, that they may lead with love and devotion.

✨ Families that they may grow in faith and grace.

✨ And for the babies yet to be born, that they may be surrounded by God’s love and care.

As we embrace the season of Lent, may we all find moments to slow down, reflect, and grow in our relationship with God. 💕

A faith-filled birth is a beautiful journey where we embrace God’s love and strength with every contraction, every breath, and every step. As you prepare to bring new life into the world, refer to these scriptures to be reminded that God’s presence surrounds you—filling you with peace, courage, and strength.

🕊️ Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

🕊️ Psalm 56:3-4 - What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Only about 5% of babies are born on their exact “due date,” while most arrive anytime between 37 and 42 weeks.

In generations past, women didn’t have a single day marked on the calendar as the day their baby should arrive. Instead, they trusted their bodies and had a general sense of the window in which their little one would be born.

Clinging too tightly to a specific date can create unnecessary stress and anxiety—something no mama needs during this sacred season.

Instead, try embracing the idea of a “birth window” rather than a fixed date. This shift in mindset allows you to settle into peace, trusting that your baby will come when both your body and your little one are ready.

On this beautiful day, we celebrate love in all its forms, especially the love that brings new life into the world. At Morning Star Birth Center, we are blessed to witness the miracle of birth and the powerful love that each family experiences when they welcome their little ones into the world.
