My name is Cameron and I offer services as a Birth Doula. I believe in offering a holistic and natural approach to birth that is consistent with our first known language, mother nature. It is important to connect back to the Earth and the energy/vibrations of the Universe. Mother Nature (sometimes known as Mother Earth or the Earth-mother) is defined as a common personification of woman that focuses on the life-giving and nurturing aspects of nature by embodying it, in the form of the mother. I call myself Muva Nature because I put a modern and present-day knowledge to communicate and educate about childbirth and tie it in with the existing order of life. I have four children, in which I have different birth experiences. My first born was born at 38 weeks vaginally with an epidural and he is now 9 years old. My second child was born at 40 weeks, 2 days, and was delivered naturally with no medication or intervention and I was the first woman to do a Lotus Birth at the University of Louisville Hospital in October 2016. I also became a Vegan in the middle of my pregnancy. My third child was delivered naturally on his due date, and I labored in the water as well as doing a Lotus Birth with him also! My fourth child was born at home, 40 weeks and 6 days, lotus-born and peaceful experience. I studied Pre-Professional Health and Psychology at Austin Peay State University and graduated in May 2016. I have attended 5 births outside of my own and would love to discuss my services offered for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Due to my pregnancy, I will be pausing my Sound Healing, Reiki and Prenatal services until the end of 2024. Your well-being is a top priority for me, and I am thrilled to announce that I have partnered with Remedy Therapeutic Massage in Newington, CT, to ensure you receive the exceptional care you deserve during this time. Cyndi, a skilled therapist at Remedy Therapeutic Massage, will be taking over my Reiki and Prenatal services. Cyndi is dedicated to providing you with the nurturing and healing experiences you have come to expect. Cyndi Aure is a passionate intuitive Healer and mother of 4. With a strong affinity for eastern therapies, Cyndi became a Reiki Practitioner in 2019 through Aaron Weston from Nourishing Necessities. She obtained her License in Massage Therapy from Cortiva Institute in 2021. In 2022, she obtained certification as an Infant Massage Coach from Pediatric Theratools and became a Certified Sound Healer from Ed Cleveland Sound Healing. Your healing journey is in good hands with Cyndi at Remedy Therapeutic Massage. We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time of transition.

We had a TIME! Our Summer Cohort was so fun! We hosted 2 children and we did so many fun projects to include planting, maintaining and harvesting from our community garden, learning African-centered math, history and culture! I know I’ve been MIA a bit from this platform and that is for good reason! I have been working hard building an in-person cohort for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade to learn about their culture, herbal studies and African and indigenous history! For the past 2 years, I spent creating an all inclusive homeschool curriculum that caters to parents as a guide to teaching Kindergarten through 8th grade levels! It includes knowledge of self, spirituality, African and indigenous centered history and herbal studies as well as the Common CORE Standards.
