Please join us in welcoming Megan Evans, Manager of Philanthropy, Garnet Health Foundation - Catskills! 👏

In this role, Megan will oversee fundraising campaigns and events, build donor relationships, and foster community connections.

Megan brings extensive experience in nonprofit management and community engagement. Her career began at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in 2016, where she was Manager of Volunteer and Community Engagement before advancing to Manager of Events and Special Projects.

Garnet Health President and CEO, Johnathan Schiller recently joined Garnet Health Medical Center Switchboard Operators, Angel Santana and Nick Lanza to gain a firsthand understanding of their roles.

During his visit, he observed the volume and variety of calls managed by the Switchboard team each day – ranging from patients, family members, vendors and various community members.

This visit highlighted the team’s expertise and dedication, as they handled more than 450 inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.

The Garnet Health Medical Center Gift Shop is hosting its 3rd Local Author Signing event on October 10 from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm at the Garnet Health Medical Center Gift Shop located in the Main Lobby!

Come out and meet Author and Hudson Valley native, Stephanie Lock and receive a signed copy of her book, If Goldfish Were Bluebirds. 📝

Stephanie has her masters in school counseling and currently specializes in preschool-aged students, helping to address various social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

She wrote this book for kids, and grownups alike, who may struggle at times with accepting themselves.

Garnet Health recently participated in the Community Wellness Day event at De Hoyos Memorial Park in Monticello, NY, hosted by the Sullivan County Department of Public Health.

Community members enjoyed free health screenings, educational workshops, prizes, crafts, a magic show, and more!

Garnet Health Medical Center recently hosted its annual National Cancer Survivors Day event at the Erie Way Park Pavilion!

This event honored cancer survivors, supported those currently facing cancer, and provided education and resources for all who attended.

Survivors enjoyed food from Cujino’s, music by DJ Echo, and inspiring guest speakers.

Thank you to our Oncology department for coordinating this event and making it a great success.
