Recently, ADAC Prevention Specialist for Pine Bush Central Schools, Ashley Nelson, visited Mrs. Watts' 5th grade class at EJ Russel Elementary School. Students learned about over the counter and prescription medication and engaged in a related activity.

Recently, ADAC Prevention Specialist for Pine Bush Central Schools, Ashley Nelson, held 8 presentations at Pine Bush High School. Ashley visited several health classes and covered prevention topics such as THC, alcohol, ni****ne, and va**ng.

Congratulations to Hadley Jean Boesch and Duaa Fatima, two of the winners of our 39th Annual Substance Use Prevention poster contest from Goshen Central School District! Hadley has been awarded with Grand Prize, Grades 1-6, and Duaa has been awarded with Grand Prize, Digital! Our theme this year is: "Picture Your Future Through a Drug Free Lens".

Hadley and Duaa are some of our winners who will be honored at our ceremony at Orange County Emergency Services in Goshen on May 8th, 2026. Awesome job, Hadley and Duaa! 🎨⭐

Congratulations to Samiyah McKenzie, one of the winners of our 39th Annual Substance Use Prevention poster contest from Minisink Valley Central School District! Samiyah has been awarded with the Lori Hulle Memorial Award! Our theme this year is: "Picture Your Future Through a Drug Free Lens".

Samiyah is one of our winners who will be honored at our ceremony at Orange County Emergency Services in Goshen on May 8th, 2026. Awesome job Samiyah! 🎨⭐

On February 27th, ADAC held a Cookies & Canvas event for staffers led by our Program Assistant Izzy Bragaglia. Staff members followed along with a guided painting session of the aurora borealis while eating cookies! 🍪

Staff are invited to share a skill or talent with their co-workers as a way to bring us closer together as a team and spend some time decompressing. Thank you, Izzy, the workshop was a blast!

Last Fall, members of our Admin Team attended NYCON's Camp Finance to get ready for our new roles at ADAC in 2026. Please join us in Congratulating Gina Lien, our former Executive Assistant who is now our Director of Operations, and Jamie Moore, our former Business Office Manager who is now our Director of Finance.

Together with our new Executive Director, the team learned so much about the ever-changing world, work, challenges, and successes of being a non-profit service organization. Our team is ready and committed to leading ADAC into the future!

On January 12, ADAC held its first employee-led creative workshop led by our Community Prevention Specialist Arabia Shearn. Staff are invited to share a skill or talent with their co-workers as a way to bring us closer together as a team and spend some time decompressing. Thank you, Arabia, the workshop was a blast!
