Mobile Video Game Arcade for Adults on the Autism Spectrum – Saturday, July 20, 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Perkatory Coffee Roasters in Middletown, CT
Coming soon to a location near you! Project CASY (Community Autism Socials at Yale, www.meetup.com/ProjectCASY/) has created gaming events based on the old-fashioned video game arcades of the 1980s. After nearly two years in development, we’re going mobile courtesy of our community partners across the state of Connecticut. These mobile events are based off our gaming program at the Yale Child Study Center which have been running since 2017; however, this particular event is tailored to suit young adults, high school age and 20-somethings. This Mobile Video Game Arcade will be co-hosted by the Chippens Hill Group including ClearWeave Careers and ShineBright Mentoring. You don't want to miss this rare opportunity to play you favorite video games in a unique coffeehouse setting!
Project CASY’s Mobile Video Game Arcade features numerous local multiplayer video games on today’s hottest gaming consoles: Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4), Nintendo Wii U, Microsoft Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Retro games available as well. We have over 50 multiplayer games available, so there will be something for everyone. If we don’t have what you want, we’ll try our best to get it – just ask!
Again, this event is co-hosted by the Chippens Hill Group (ClearWeave Careers & ShineBright Mentoring) and will take place at Perkatory Coffee Roasters in Middletown, CT. Please note that Mobile Video Game Arcade is NOT in New Haven. This event is open to all young adults, high school age and 20-somethings.
For more info and to RSVP, please visit www.meetup.com/ProjectCASY/events/. Project CASY membership and hosted events are free. Project CASY is sponsored in part by The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation Adult Autism Research Fund, a generous gift from the Rosen family, and the research/clinical practice of Dr. Roger Jou at the Yale Child Study Center. As always, please consider sharing with your community and/or network. Thank you.
