We were honored to celebrate The Q Fund grant awards with Carrissa Williams, Jan Phillippe, and four of the six grant recipients: Caritas Immigration Legal Services, Inc. , Center for Children's Advocacy, The Connection, and Gilead Community Services. (Grant recipients that were unable to join us for the photo included The Active Voice, LLC and Ministerial Health Fellowship … but stay tuned for updates!)

Save the Date! On Sunday, November 2nd, Gilead will host its 20th annual Quizine for a Cause! You won't want to miss this unique event with special additions for this milestone year.

Want to help make this Quizine extra special? Join the Quizine Planning Committee! Be part of the go-to crew that creates the magic year after year. Proud to show up at the Middletown Juneteenth Festivities for the second year in a row! Staff and clients from Gilead represented in the parade and Liberation Day festivities in our Juneteenth t-shirts.

Thank you to everyone who walked, cheered, or volunteered for this important event - especially on a holiday! Yes - at Gilead, Juneteenth is officially a paid holiday.

We invite everyone at Gilead and in our community to use this day not only to rest, reflect, or celebrate, but also to engage in conversations and continue fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Tomorrow! Middletown's first book festival will feature acclaimed author Lisa Genova in conversation with Gilead's CEO Dan Osborne.

Gilead will be participating in 2 exciting community events this week!

First, join us at the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Parade and Liberation Festival on Thursday, June 19th. This is the second year in a row that Gilead will be walking in the parade, and the first year that Juneteenth will be recognized as an official paid holiday for Gilead staff. Learn more about this important holiday and celebrate our vibrant Middletown community with us.

Next, join Gilead CEO Dan Osborne in conversation with New York Best Selling Author Lisa Genova at on Saturday, June 21st 1pm at the Church of the Holy Trinity for the first ever Middletown Pages Book Festival. Lisa’s work includes fiction and nonfiction writing and TED talks about bridging important topics like memory, Alzheimer’s, mental health, and neurological conditions with the shared human experience. The all-day, free event kicks off at 10am with talks, workshops, and events until 5pm happening at both the Church of the Holy Trinity (381 Main Street, Middletown) and RJ Julia Bookstore (413 Main Street, Middletown).
