Gilead will be participating in 2 exciting community events this week!
First, join us at the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Parade and Liberation Festival on Thursday, June 19th. This is the second year in a row that Gilead will be walking in the parade, and the first year that Juneteenth will be recognized as an official paid holiday for Gilead staff. Learn more about this important holiday and celebrate our vibrant Middletown community with us.
Next, join Gilead CEO Dan Osborne in conversation with New York Best Selling Author Lisa Genova at on Saturday, June 21st 1pm at the Church of the Holy Trinity for the first ever Middletown Pages Book Festival. Lisa’s work includes fiction and nonfiction writing and TED talks about bridging important topics like memory, Alzheimer’s, mental health, and neurological conditions with the shared human experience. The all-day, free event kicks off at 10am with talks, workshops, and events until 5pm happening at both the Church of the Holy Trinity (381 Main Street, Middletown) and RJ Julia Bookstore (413 Main Street, Middletown).
