We are so incredibly proud of our amazing team. Many of our staff members are lodging here overnight to ensure uninterrupted care throughout the storm. Their dedication, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond truly reflect the heart of Meadowcrest.

🎭💜💛💚 Mardi Gras Magic at Meadowcrest! 💚💛💜
Our residents at Meadowcrest Assisted Living had a wonderful time celebrating Mardi Gras with festive crafts, lively music, and a taste of New Orleans with our famous Mardi Gras–style punch! 🎶🎨🍹
From colorful masks and beads to toe-tapping tunes that brought smiles all around, it was a day full of laughter, creativity, and community spirit. We love bringing joyful traditions to life and creating meaningful moments for our residents.

Meadowcrest Assisted Living is excited to share that we have officially partnered with the Iron Hill Science Museum! 🦉🦅🦆
Today we hosted our very first program together Birds, Birds, Birds of Delaware” and what an incredible experience it was! Our residents had the opportunity to feel feathers, explore different species, and learn fascinating facts about the beautiful birds right here in Delaware.💙 The hands-on learning and engagement made it both educational and fun for everyone involved!

We love bringing meaningful, interactive experiences into our community, and this is just the beginning.

💕🌹 Spreading Love Door to Door at Meadowcrest Independent Living 🌹💕
This Valentine’s Day was extra special thanks to our incredible IL Activities Team and our amazing IL Activities Director, Ed! Together, they made sure every single resident felt celebrated and appreciated.
With smiles on their faces, they went door to door delivering sweet surprises beautiful flowers 💐, delicious candies, and heartfelt ♥️ handwritten notes. Each knock brought joy, laughter, and meaningful moments that truly touched the heart.
It wasn’t just about the gifts it was about the connection, the thoughtfulness, and reminding our residents just how loved they are every single day. 💌✨
We are so proud to be part of a community where love is shared in the simplest and most beautiful ways.

Our hearts were full this Valentine’s Day at Meadowcrest Independent Living as talented pianist Micheal Hunter shared his incredible gift of music with our residents. The room was filled with beautiful melodies, warm smiles, and heartfelt connections.
Music has such a special way of bringing back treasured memories, and you could see it in every face toes tapping, hands swaying, and stories flowing. It truly was a wonderful afternoon where memories of the past were revisited and new ones were created together.
Thank you, Micheal, for making our Valentine’s celebration so meaningful and unforgettable! 💕✨

We had the sweetest afternoon here at Meadowcrest Assisted Living! 💕🍪
We were honored to welcome Lina Tichenor, talented pastry chef and owner of Figs & Flour Baking Co., who joined us for a special Valentine’s cookie decorating event. Our residents had an amazing time decorating beautiful cookies, sharing laughter, and reminiscing about Valentine’s Days past. ❤️
Even Lina’s kiddos jumped in to help, making it even more special! What a beautiful example of generations coming together.
Lina’s mom proudly resides here at Meadowcrest, and moments like this truly remind us how blessed we are. Full-circle experiences that involve families, love, and community are what make our home so special. 💙

🌿✨ Spa Day Serenity at Meadowcrest ✨🌿
Today our Compass Memory Care and Assisted Living communities came together for a beautiful Spa Day filled with relaxation and connection. 💙
Residents enjoyed soothing hand massages, calming music, and time spent reminiscing together. The room was filled with the gentle scent of beautifully infused, stress-relief incense creating a peaceful atmosphere that encouraged comfort, conversation, and smiles all around.
Moments like these remind us how important it is to slow down, engage the senses, and simply enjoy one another. 💆‍♀️🎶🌸
Self-care isn’t just a luxury it’s a meaningful experience that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.

😂🎤 Lots of Laughs in Independent Living! 🎤😂
We had an absolutely AMAZING time with comedian Missy Hall, and as always, she brought the house down with laughter!
Residents were right there enjoying every moment and we are so thankful for entertainers like Missy who fill our community with joy, connection, and nonstop smiles. Laughter truly is the best medicine, and today we had a full dose! 💙

🏈🎉 Super Bowl fun at Meadowcrest Independent Living! 🎉🏈
Our Independent Living residents enjoyed an unforgettable game day filled with delicious game day food, a big screen projector, and lots of laughs with friends. Win or lose, the memories were a total touchdown! 🥳🍿📺
