CHC is looking for 4 members with a passion for public health to join our team and kickstart their career through service with our Public Health AmeriCorps. AmeriCorps members will support with promoting healthcare and support services as well as improving access to healthcare services.

• 10-month service term from November 5, 2025 thru August 28, 2026
• Serve a minimum of 40 hours a week for a total of 1700 hours during service year
• $23,700 stipend over the course of one year, paid bi-weekly
• An education award of $7,395 at the end of successful service term completion

This is not a staff or volunteer position and is In-person at CHC locations throughout CT.

This week we hosted orientation for the Nurse Practitioner Residency Training Program in our offices. Providers from around the country including DePaul Community Health Centers in New Orleans, Open Door Community Health Centers in California, Montefiore Health System and Sun River Health in New York, Holyoke Health Center in Massachusetts, and Yakima Neighborhood Health Services in Washington joined a dynamic group to kickoff the curriculum in person.
