Caregiver burnout is a reality for many families caring for children with disabilities. MHAOC is pleased to offer respite service, to allow parents of children who are OPWDD eligible some time to themselves to rest and recharge.
We provide supervision, activities and socialization for for OPWDD eligible children ages 8-17.

Invisible Children’s Project(ICP), Friends and Siblings collaborated and brought all 3 programs together for the 2nd annual Family Picnic/BBQ. Together we were able to get the families involved in to help with the grill and serving food, while others helped with games. All families were able to co-mingle and learn about other aspects of MHA. It was a pleasure to share in the experience and the families had a wonderful night off to enjoy each others company.
