Middletown EMS is looking to hire Reserve EMT’s with the potential for a Part Time Position.

Functions of the Emergency Medical Technician on our BLS Ambulances is as follows: Provide BLS patient care and movement. Document all transports completely per company policy. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

State of Indiana Driver’s License
State of Indiana EMT Certification
AHA Basic Life Support Certification
Physically Able to Perform Job Duties
Ability to stay on station or within coverage area during your 12 hour shift.

A few officers from Middletown EMS are currently in Iowa inspecting the new ambulance that will soon serve our Middletown residents. The ambulance still requires some finishing touches, but we are excited to have this ambulance in service later this year!

Today, EMT Sue Wagner, Dave Wagner, and Kiely Culberson are representing Middletown EMS at Eskenazi Health’s Trauma and Critical Care Symposium. They are learning from leading experts in the field to stay current on the latest advancements, ensuring we continue to provide executional trauma and critical care to every patient.

Tonight the Middletown American Legion hosted Middletown EMS in our yearly Christmas Dinner. We want to extend our gratitude to all of those who make our service run.

This year we recognize Tonya Richey in her 15 years of service with Middletown EMS.

Our service voted and recognized our Jim Wren EMS Person’s of the year as Isabel Arbuckle, Candy Parker, and Dalton Parker.

Middletown EMS is looking to hire Part Time Drivers. Scheduling is flexible based on your availability but mainly consist of night time shifts.

Functions of the Driver on our BLS Ambulances is as follows: Safely operate vehicle to/from pick up and drop off locations. Provides assistance with patient care and movement. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications for Driver Position:
State of Indiana Driver’s License
Be at least 21 years old
Physically Able to Perform Job Duties
Ability to stay on station or within coverage area during your shift.
