Dr. Strickland, prior to moving to Kentucky, spent a few years at the Naval Medical Center at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina πΊπΈ There he had the pleasure of serving our men and women in uniform as well as dependents and military retirees!

I earned my medical degree in 1986 at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, but I have lived in Louisville since that time. I completed an internship, residency, and two-year postdoctoral research fellowship in corneal disease at the University of Louisville in 1992 and I have been in private practice since then. I am certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. I am also a Fellow of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and I am a founding member of the Suburban Excimer Laser Center, PLLC.
I have treated many patients and their families since starting my practice, but the care I provide and the concern I have for my patients has never changed. I want you to keep and enjoy the best vision you can for the rest of your life.
