💙𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 “𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐲” 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧, 𝐑𝐍💙
Recently, we had the privilege of honoring Amelia “Pealy” Brown, RN, through a special Living Tribute.

Throughout her remarkable nursing career, Pealy cared for people in so many stages of life and from all walks of life. From welcoming new babies in labor and delivery at Mercy Hospital to serving patients at Middletown Regional Hospital. Pealy later brought that same compassion to a more personal setting in Dr. Piel’s private practice and to Lebanon Correctional Institution. Her career is a beautiful reflection of nursing’s true heart: serving others with dignity, compassion, and strength wherever the need exists.

Her impact reaches well beyond her own nursing career, inspiring multiple family members to follow their own paths in healthcare as nurses, physicians, physician assistants, and physical and respiratory therapists.

A heartfelt thank you to the Cincinnati Nurses Honor Guard for their assistance in coordinating and honoring this extraordinary nurse and her lasting legacy of service.
