Fundraising Friday 💙

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a way for individuals, families, or businesses to make charitable donations in a structured and flexible manner. Donors can make an initial contribution to a donor-advised fund and receive an immediate tax deduction for their contributions while retaining advisory privileges to recommend grants to support causes they care about over time.

John Clarke Senior Living is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a gift from your DAF is an impactful way to support older adults on Aquidneck Island.

Donor Advised Funds are held at institutional organizations, like Fidelity Charitable or Vanguard Charitable. Ask your financial advisor if you have a Donor Advised Fund.

If you designate a gift from your DAF, be sure to include your name and address on the distribution so we can appropriately acknowledge it!
