ificate for School Family Therapists. Jessica has experience in private practice, non-profit organizations as well as schools working with children, adults, couples, families, and groups. She currently teaches at Central Connecticut State University and provides consultation to schools seeking to build a mental health team best suited for their population. She is currently working on her American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor credential and has recently been elected President-Elect of the Connecticut Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. The therapeutic process is often overlooked when dealing with difficult situations that life presents. People cope with life's sudden twists and turns in many different ways. If you have ever wondered why you are stuck repeating past patterns or unhappy in relationships, therapy can be a key to unlocking those mysteries. Being vulnerable and open to change in a trusting environment coupled with the desire to change can bring results. Jessica Joseff, LMFT graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. She has her Master's Degree in Family Therapy with a specialization in Gestalt Psychotherapy and completed the requirements for the State of Connecticut's School Family Therapy Certification (Endorsement #268). Private therapy sessions are by appointment only and payments are due at the time of service. Live In Acceptance Jessica was honored to serve as Chair of the Connecticut Association for Marriage and Family Therapy’s Geographical Interest Network in 2018. Unfortunately she resigned from her position early due to a relocation to Tokyo, Japan where she currently resides. She has experience in private practice, non-profit organizations as well as schools working with children, adults, couples, families, and groups. She has provided consultation to schools seeking to build a mental health team best suited for their population. Jessica also taught graduate courses at Central Connecticut State University in the School-based MFT area. She is currently working on her American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor credential.
