Mantras have been central to my work as a parent educator for decades. A simple mantra, like the ones pictured here, can help us shift judgment into compassion, anger into curiosity, and reaction into a thoughtful response โ€“ in an instant.

Like a set of "training wheels", mantras are there to support us when we wobble.

Mantras can also help to challenge limiting beliefs that hold us back --- thoughts that can otherwise get passed down, unchecked, from one generation to the next.
