📣 Volunteers Needed – Earn Community Service Hours!

We’re looking for enthusiastic high school students to help out at our End of Summer Get Moving Bash 🎉 This is a fun way to give back, get kids active, and earn community service hours at the same time!

📅 Date: Saturday, September 20th (Rain date: September 21st)
🕛 Time: 12 PM – 3 PM
📍 Location: Aquidneck Pediatrics

We need about 10 volunteers to help run activities such as:
⚽ Soccer games
🏐 Gaga Ball pit
🎨 Fun activity stations
🎯 Kids challenges & more!

This is a perfect opportunity for students who love being active, enjoy working with kids, or just want to support a positive community event.
✅ Community service hours will be signed off for your time.
✅ Snacks & water will be provided.

Good afternoon families,

It seems there is no interest in Get Moving events this month. We know school is starting very soon, and many of you are busy trying to make the most of the last few days of summer sunshine. With that in mind, we have decided to pause activities and start back up in September once school is back in session.

We are also planning a mid-summer bash, so stay tuned for details! We’re sorry for the change, but we feel this is the best decision at this time.

Hello families,

Can you believe it’s already August? I had hoped to have the Get Moving schedule out by now, but time has gotten away from us! I’m working on finalizing everything and plan to have it ready by later today—or Monday at the latest.

These fun events will continue into September, since there’s just too much good stuff to fit into one month. We’ll also be adding some back-to-school fun along the way!

Good morning families,

August is right around the corner, and we’re excited to share that more Get Moving dates are coming soon!

Next month, we’ll be focusing more on activities for our tween and teen age groups—but not to worry, we’ll still have plenty of fun planned for our younger kids too. We’ve also heard your feedback on social media and have added some great family-friendly events to the lineup!

And don’t forget—there’s still a bike and a walking pad waiting to be given away! And this is all FREE

🌟 Happy Monday, families!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is our obstacle course day for Get Moving activities! We have an amazing instructor coming in to run this event, and you do not want to miss out – your kids are going to love it.

✅ Sign up if you haven’t already!
🧒👧 Ages 4 and up if possible.

Please note, this will be our last event for July as we need to cancel the class on July 26th due to staffing issues.

But don’t worry – we’re working on new dates for August, including some events just for teens, which is going to be so awesome!
