Have you never taken a yoga class, but want to and are unsure what to expect? Or are you new to yoga and want a little more in depth knowledge about the practice? Are you a seasoned practitioner who is looking to get back to the basics of foundation and alignment?

This Beginner Yoga workshop will introduce you to the studio and the philosophy of yoga. You will explore the benefits of yoga, while being guided through yoga techniques of relaxation, breathing, and stress reduction along with beginner asanas (postures); all in an informal non-judgmental environment.

Students will end the series with a strong yoga foundation, ready to enter various classes that the studio has to offer.

Wax and Wicks is an intentional candle making workshop meant to bring the art of candle making and mindfulness practices together. In this workshop you’ll be learning how to make all natural soy wax candles using organic materials and fragrances while leading with intention. 

We’ll start in a welcoming circle with an ice breaker to connect and set our intentions. You’ll pick your candle container and the step by step guided process will begin. After the final pour has been made and our candles have been decorated. We’ll end with a short sound bath while our candles cure. 🕯️

Jule Lane is an E-500-hour yoga teacher, Pilates instructor, Ayurvedic wellness educator, and stretch therapist. She is trained in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, with additional certifications in Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and Rope Wall Yoga. Jule remains rooted in the traditions of yoga while integrating modern movement science to create classes that are powerful, personal, and deeply supportive. Her goal is to help you feel confident, strong, and regulated—while providing you with tools to make the practice your own.
