Feeling blessed. Started another season of medical for Caledonia Youth Football . I wish the rain would have stayed away but it was a great game. Looking forward to a great season for all of the teams.

What a great and tiring weekend it was. I had the pleasure of being with the Caledonia Youth Football 8th grade football team for thier team camp at the YMCA. During the teams fun time I ran the youth coaches through CPR and AED training. What a great group of coaches they were. This is what puts this community above others. Looking for to a great season of football and spending time with all of the teams this year from 3rd grade up to 8th grade.

I had a special class today for a group of friends that are teachers and thier families getting ready for school to start. One thing that made this class so special was, Bruce, the husband of one of them, just had a CPR save a few weeks ago leading to the class. It was great hearing his story about what happened and how he had to start treating the patient. Thank you to Yankee Springs Golf course for having me train some of your staff.

Had a great opportunity to work the West Michigan Flag Football Championship at Davenport University yesterday. I wish I took more photos but what a great event. I got to work with another great partner from my fire department due to the amount of people. 30 teams from Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. With the heat, the kids and coaches did a great job at staying hydrated. Thank you again for the opportunity to keep the kids safe.

After a busy weekend, another post from a great class at John Ball Zoo Friday. After the CPR class, finished up with thier last Medical Oxygen class. I alway ask for feedback from each class and love reading comments like this. I always try to be the best instructor and add real life into the class. Saturday was spent with some family time walking the zoo.

Yesterday was a busy day of training. I had a back to back classes. Thank you to Kentwood Community Church for trusting me to train your staff. All came ready to learn and had some great questions.

Tonight I finished up the John Ball Zoo dive team with Use of Emergency Medical Oxygen. Another great class that came ready to learn. Thank you again for trusting me to train your staff.

As an instructor, I try my best to bring real world into my class. I have sat through many classes that the instructor was not great and had zero real world experience, and I have sat through some great classes with instructors I really liked. I have certain things I have to present but I can make things my own as well. The feedback I get helps me learn from the good to the bad. This is what I love seeing from students. I will always do my best to make my classes as interesting as possible. Thank you all for the support.

John Ball Zoo has a dive team for some of thier enclosures and the team has certain things that they have to be trained in. I had the opportunity to train half of the team today on how to use emergency oxygen. This was a great training and the group was great. The other half will be trained shortly. A new class for me but it went very well. Always great working with the staff at the zoo. We even got on the topic of venomous animals and bites. You never know what we will talk about.

The 1st class of the year. I have been so busy with life, that I have not taught much lately. It was great to be able to teach a class at John Ball Zoo tonight. So many great questions and stories. Thank you again for trusting me to train your staff.
