As spring arrives, we will begin our annual cemetery spring clean-up the week of March 20, 2026. During this time, our staff will carefully remove items that have been placed around markers and memorials so we can prepare the grounds for the spring and summer season.
We kindly ask families to remove any loose decorations or keepsakes they wish to keep before this date.
We understand that many of the items left at your loved one’s resting place are meaningful and placed with love. Each year we complete a clean-up so our team can prepare for grass season and properly maintain the grounds.
Any loose items not secured in a permanent vase must be removed so we can mow and care for the cemetery without accidentally damaging meaningful items or creating hazards for those visiting.
This clean-up is something we do once or twice a year. Our goal is always to care for the cemetery in a way that honors those who rest here and provides a comforting place for all families to visit. This process helps us keep the cemetery grounds in the pristine, beautiful, and peaceful condition that everyone has come to love and admire about Sunset Memorial Park.
