Ever set a ‘boundary’ that left you more resentful than relieved? You’re not alone, and you might be off track. Our new blog reveals why boundaries aren’t about changing others but freeing yourself. Bonus: they can make relationships better, not worse.

Read it here:

A Word Adrift As a therapist, I’ve spent years guiding people toward boundaries, those quiet, powerful lines that protect our peace. Lately, though, I’ve noticed something unsettling. “Boundary” has become a buzzword that has strayed from its roots. I hear it in sessions and casual chats ali...

These days, social media is full of people diagnosing each other with personality disorders—throwing around words like ‘narcissist,’ ‘manipulative,’ and ‘toxic.’ But Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is often caught in the crossfire, misunderstood and misrepresented.

BPD isn’t about being difficult or attention-seeking. It’s about navigating intense emotions, deep fears of abandonment, and survival strategies that were often learned in response to painful experiences.

In our latest blog, we’re breaking down what BPD actually is (and isn’t), why boundaries can feel different for those with BPD, and how DBT can help. It’s time to move beyond the myths and toward real understanding.

Read more here:

Over the years, I’ve worked with many people who have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and one thing has become clear—there is a lot of misunderstanding about what BPD actually is. Through my work, I have gained a deep understanding of these experiences—the challenges...

Ever sit down to meditate and end up planning an imaginary argument instead? 🧘‍♀️🤔💭

Bringing All of You to Therapy, Including Your Political Beliefs

Yesterday, as people woke up to the election results, I noticed something in my sessions. Clients began with hesitation, apologizing, saying things like, “I don’t usually talk about politics,” or “I know we’re not supposed to bring this up.” Some were celebrating, others were grieving, but all were hesitant to talk about it. And each time, my heart ached a bit. Let me make this clear: nothing is off-limits in therapy. You are welcome here, fully and completely, with every thought, worry, and belief that’s weighing on you.

I believe deeply in holding space for the hard conversations. Therapy is where you’re allowed to say it all, where I’m here to walk with you as you explore the things that matter most, free of judgment or labels.

In times of uncertainty and division, the world pushes us into “us vs. them” mindsets. Our society is quick to label and divide us based on beliefs, urging us to take sides and judge. But that’s not what therapy is. Therapy is about holding space for all parts of you—the parts you’re sure of, the parts you question, and even the parts you think you should hide. Therapy is where you bring it all without fear of judgment.

The middle path I hold in therapy is about stepping back from divisiveness and walking alongside you in full acceptance. Here, we create space for complexity, without the need for labels or choosing sides. My passion, my role, is to offer you a place where you can explore, process, and be truly seen—free from expectations and judgment.

If there’s anything you should know, it’s that you don’t need to apologize for bringing your whole self into therapy. You are valued and honored here, and I am committed to holding that space with love, respect, and compassion. So bring it all. Let’s walk this path together, every step of the way.
