Every week we host Coffee & Chat ☕️💬 to give residents a chance to spend time together, get to know one another better, and enjoy good conversation and lots of laughs 😊❤️. Our amazing kitchen team always prepares delicious treats for everyone to enjoy 🍪🧁, and this week residents got to be the official taste testers for a brand new brownie recipe! 🍫🤎 Needless to say, it was a sweet success! 😋👏

Happy Easter from Colonial Villa! 🐰🌷🥚 Good Friday was full of smiles, laughter, and springtime fun for everyone! Residents had a wonderful time hiding eggs, watching the children search for them, seeing them decorate cookies 🍪 and color Easter pictures 🎨. We even had a very special surprise visitor stop by… the Easter Bunny! 🐇💐

Friday we stepped up to the plate to celebrate the home opener for the Detroit Tigers! ⚾️🐯 Residents and staff enjoyed a ballpark-inspired lunch filled with nachos 🧀, sliders 🍔, mini hot dogs 🌭, coney dogs with all the fixings, and plenty of other delicious treats 🍿🥨. There were lots of smiles 😊, great food 😋, and excitement 🎉 as we kicked off baseball season together and cheered on our Tigers! 🧢⚾️💙🧡

All month long we’ve been learning about Saudi Arabia, and today we brought it all together with a Saudi-inspired lunch featuring Kabsa! We listened to traditional music from the country and enjoyed trying something new. It was a wonderful experience, and everyone really enjoyed it! Each month we learn about a different country. 🇸🇦
