Providing therapeutic services for children, birth through school age at our 4 locations

Children's Therapy Corner is committed to helping children attain their highest level of independence by working with families as a team to create an honest and trusting environment that promotes learning and sharing. Family members are recognized as key players within a multidisciplinary team and are encouraged to be involved in the the child's therapy program. With this level of involvement, the child's therapeutic gains are maximized, and the family learns how to advocate for the child's needs.

Game time = brain time!
Othello, marble runs, Connect 4, they’re more than just fun. These games challenge executive functioning skills like planning, flexible thinking, impulse control, and working memory, all key parts of successful communication and learning.
At CTC, we love using play to build these skills during speech therapy, and they’re easy to keep practicing at home too!

What a night! Our Summer Bash at CTC Lansing was filled with laughter, color, and community spirit. From rock painting to the Color Run, slime to pie-ing therapists (yes, really!), we loved celebrating summer with YOU! Thanks to everyone who joined us, see you next year!

Back-to-School = Backpack Safety!
If your child is school-aged, they’re ready to carry their own bag, but the right way matters!
✅ Keep backpack weight to 10–15% of your child’s body weight.
✅ Place heavier items (like books or water bottles) low and in the center.
✅ Use both straps and adjust so the bag sits about 2 inches below the shoulders.
