Children's Therapy Corner is committed to helping children attain their highest level of independence by working with families as a team to create an honest and trusting environment that promotes learning and sharing. Family members are recognized as key players within a multidisciplinary team and are encouraged to be involved in the the child's therapy program. With this level of involvement, the

child's therapeutic gains are maximized, and the family learns how to advocate for the child's needs.

🚧 Traverse City Traffic Update 🚧

Families, we wanted to give you a heads up!

Beginning April 13 through early July, construction at the US-31 / 3 Mile Road intersection will impact travel to Children’s Therapy Corner.

What to expect:
• 3 Mile Road detour via Parsons Rd & Airport Access Rd (approx. 5 weeks)
• Possible lane closures on US-31
• Changes to nearby traffic patterns

In feeding therapy, progress doesn’t always look like taking a bite right away. Sometimes it starts with exploring!

This child began by putting mashed potatoes on her head, then her nose, and eventually… her mouth!

At Children’s Therapy Corner, we follow a child-led feeding approach. That means we let kids explore foods at their own pace without pressure or force.

Exploration builds comfort, curiosity, and confidence with new foods and that’s where real progress begins.
