Care from the heart to meet the unique needs of patients and families. Hospice of Midland has provided compassionate care to thousands of patients and families.
The vision of a few members of this community met with a tremendous amount of hard work, cooperation, and love for one’s fellow man. Our continuing commitment is to build on the needs of our patients with a life-limiting illness. Hospice of Midland provides a true community of care for patients and their families as the only non-profit community-owned hospice in the Permian Basin. When medicine cannot provide a cure, Hospice of Midland can diminish suffering and offer care and assistance that helps maintain a better quality of life for the patient. Our services involve treatment of physical and emotional pain and symptoms focusing on improving the patient’s comfort and quality of life. Our philosophy is that as life nears its end, every individual has the right to spend his or her remaining days in peace and with dignity. We focus specifically on comfort, dignity and pain control as we respond to the symptoms, needs and goals of the patients and their families. Looking for Loving Homes: Mama Cat & 3 Kittens
Through our Pet Peace of Mind program, Hospice of Midland is helping one of our patients ensure their beloved outdoor cats find safe, caring homes. We are hoping to rehome one sweet mama cat and her three adorable kittens.
These gentle outdoor kitties have been well-loved and just need a safe place to land. If you have room in your heart — or your yard — to take in a cat or kitten, we would be so grateful.
Helping care for a patient’s pets is just one of the ways we support families with care from the heart.
If you’re interested or would like more information, please call Sandy at 432-682-2855.
Let’s help keep this little feline family together and safe.

Just two of our distinguished Hospice Hounds reporting for duty!
Louie and Siler, decided that if the residents at Vogel get chairs… so should they!
These two clearly take their jobs very seriously — spreading joy, collecting pets, and sitting like proper little residents themselves. And honestly? We’re here for it.
Thank you to Vogel for always welcoming our furry care team. Louie and Siler absolutely loved their visit (and their chairs).
