MY TRANSFORMATION
•
The first picture is from 2015. Mentally, I was lost and did not know what direction my life was heading. I used my prior sports injuries as excuses, when in reality, I was being lazy. I prioritized partying and smoking as much w**d as possible instead of thinking about my future. Clearly, this mindset directly impacted my physicality. One day, at one of my lowest points, I finally recognized that there was nothing or no one to blame for my actions other than myself. The only way to reach the light at the end of the tunnel was to move forward. So, in that moment, I forgave myself for the past (important!) and I stopped making excuses.

The second picture is from yesterday, and it is the happiest place (mentally and physically) I have ever been. Nothing about this journey has been easy, but what I can say with full confidence is training, prioritizing my mental and physical health, and surrounding myself with the right people has been an absolute godsend. Training has taught me how to not only set goals, but also define the path to reach them… I carry the lessons I learn from training in life outside of the gym. Taking the time to myself to unwind, get into nature, and pursue my creative hobbies has been necessary to keep me grounded and present. Lastly, my wife, my family, and my closest friends have been the best support structure that I could ever dream of. I love y’all, and I hope that I am as much of a positive impact in your lives as you are in mine.
