Pre-teen/teenage years are difficult to manage, but our docs are incredibly knowledgeable on the topic. Read the article, schedule your child's well check, and we will take care of the rest.

Fall is here and unfortunately all the nasty seasonal viruses are here, too. Here’s a simple flow chart to help you determine when your child needs to stay home from school. Most kids with a cold or stomach bug will recover on their own with some extra rest and fluids and do not need to be seen by a doctor, but you should call your pediatrician right away if your child has difficulty breathing, blue lips or nails, extreme fatigue, or is showing signs of dehydration. Acetaminophen is an over-the-counter medicine used to reduce fevers and relieve pain. It is sold under many brand names, including Tylenol.

Decades of research have found that acetaminophen is safe for children when administered as recommended. Misleading claims link the medicine to autism. These false claims send a confusing, dangerous message to parents and expectant parents and does a disservice to autistic individuals. Read more at the link below.
