Our partners at Bayada sure know how to bring the FUN!

We always welcome a visit from our trusted partner, Bayada Home Health. Bayada provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy services (and ice cream sundaes 😍) to our Salisbury communities to keep our residents active, safe, and strong. It doesn't hurt that they know just what we need on a Friday afternoon - ice cream!

In our Memory Care community, friendships are one of the most beautiful things we get to watch grow. Living with dementia can make it difficult to learn new things. Making new friends, however, reminds us that friendship, love, and connection never fade.

These sweet friendships bring such comfort and a sense of belonging, and we’re so grateful to be part of their story. Because even when memories change, friendship still finds a way.

*** WINTER WEATHER UPDATE ***

Happy SNOW DAY from Spring Arbor! It's 22 degrees here in Salisbury and sleet is forecasted for the rest of the day. We have a few inches of snow on the ground with a mixture of sleet and snow continuing to fall. Our power is still on, and the heat is cranking to keep our residents and team warm and cozy!

We appreciate all of our team members who are here today, many who spent the night, that are away from their homes and loved ones to take care of our residents. Thank you for all that you do! 💜

*** WINTER WEATHER UPDATE ***

It is a CRISP 21 degrees here in Salisbury with wind gusts making the temperature feel like an icy 9 degrees! Our residents are warm and safe - and the community is operating normally.

We are expecting the snow to begin around 10pm tonight. We are prepped and ready to spring into action in the event of a power outage, and our team members have safe and warm spaces to sleep tonight so that our residents will have the help they need tonight and tomorrow.

✅ Generator tested
✅ Emergency food and water supply inventoried
✅ Batteries, flashlights, and blankets have been purchased
✅ Bed and mattresses set up for team members to spend the night
✅ Ice melt ordered and on hand

Although the forecast changes daily, we do not take any risks when it comes to the safety of our residents and team members. This entire week has been dedicated to emergency response preparedness in which our team has been all hands-on deck.

The chilly weather this week has made us thankful for the things that keep our hearts warm! Our residents enjoyed this art program and created their own "hot chocolate" that stirred up ALL the nostalgia of a steamy cup of hot cocoa after a day in the snow.
