🎉 IT’S OFFICIAL: Reproductive Freedom is on the Virginia Ballot!

The Senate just voted 21-17 to send the Constitutional Amendment for Reproductive Freedom to voters this November.

WHAT THIS MEANS:
Virginians will decide whether to protect the freedom to make personal reproductive health decisions — prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, birth control, abortion, miscarriage management, and fertility care — without government interference.

Right now, politicians can restrict or ban reproductive healthcare.

This amendment puts patients in control.

⚠️ LYNCHBURG: City Council votes TOMORROW on abortion clinic ban

THE ISSUE
Tomorrow evening (weather permitting), Lynchburg City Council will vote on zoning restrictions that would ban abortion clinics within 1,000 feet of residential areas, schools, churches, and community hubs. This would make it nearly impossible for clinics to operate anywhere in the city.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
✓ Planning commission voted 4-2 AGAINST these restrictions in December
✗ City Council can override and pass them anyway
✗ This is part of a pattern: Bedford County and Vinton tried similar measures
✗ If Lynchburg passes this, other Virginia localities will follow
