Warning: extreme cuteness below!

We LOVE our regular pet therapy visits here at Spring Arbor and all of the benefits it provides - comfort, lower stress, and boosted moods, to name a few! "Dolly Parton" recently visited our community and was showered with attention from our residents. We enjoyed fluffy cuddles and wet-nose kisses in return 🐶💜

Thank you to our wonderful therapy animals (and their humans!) for bringing so much happiness to our community. We can’t wait for the next "PAWsome" visit!

If faith has always been a part of your life, we don't expect you to leave it behind when you move to Assisted Living. Instead, we bring the services to you! Our community is grateful for our partnership with Church of the Epiphany who perform a weekly prayer service for our residents every Sunday. 🌟

Our Pathways to Spirituality programs provide many other opportunities to attend church services, prayer groups, and volunteer, allowing our residents to continue exploring their faith, values, and sense of community at Spring Arbor.

🎵 We were lucky enough to recently host the Jubilation Choir at our community, and their music did not disappoint! We sang along and tapped our toes to the songs that filled our lobby - creating some magical and musical moments!

Part of being a resident at Spring Arbor means having access to continuous learning!

Our friends and partners at the Lifelong Learning Institute in Chesterfield paid us a visit to tell us all about their programs and classes that they offer. From lectures and discussions to online courses and social events, LLI offers a wide range of ways to keep your brain healthy. Our residents enjoyed learning more about the classes they offer and had a chance to ask questions about how to get involved and even sign up for a class!

Donuts of course!

On Saturday mornings we have donuts in the cafe with our Manager on Duty, which always attracts a crowd! Our residents get to enjoy a sweet treat while chatting with the team, and spending time with their friends and neighbors is an added bonus.

Did you know that you're never too old to start taking care of your brain?

We learned some great tips and tricks from the Alzheimer's Association who presented on "10 Ways to Love Your Brain." Exercise, nutrition, and social and cognitive stimulation all play a part in keeping your brain active and working at 100%.

At Spring Arbor, we offer stimulating social and cognitive activities, exercise classes and walking clubs, and provide residents with three nutritious meals a day - the perfect recipe for a healthy brain!

This time of year, we take moments to be thankful for the things in life that give us peace, comfort, and security. A warm home and a full belly are things to be thankful for - and for those less fortunate, we give back.

Each month, our residents and team members make sandwiches for the homeless. This is a wonderful way to bring our community together and support those who may need a little extra help. Our residents find purpose and fulfillment in giving back, and we are proud to be able to provide for our community, even in a small way.
