Today, I want to bring your attention to the pressing challenges our beloved community in Panaruu, Duk County, South Sudan is facing.
Over the past year, the dedicated team at JDF has been tirelessly working to combat a devastating cholera crisis in Panaruu and an alarming rise in malaria cases in Kadiang, Poktap, Padiet, Koat, Koldhiak, Mareng, and Karitha. The historic flooding has ravaged our crops and livestock, leaving families in dire need of support. These statistics represent more than just numbers; they embody the heart-wrenching struggles of mothers, fathers, and children who are bravely fighting for their lives and futures.
Since the dismantling of USAID funding in January, our usual support has been severely impacted. While we are grateful for the great leadership of our Board Chairman, Deng Johnson Malual Leek and contributions from private citizens here in the USA, but it is still not enough to meet the overwhelming needs of our community. But together, we can make a difference! Here’s how you can help:
Donate Essential Supplies:
• Mosquito Nets to protect against malaria
• PPE for Healthcare Workers to ensure their safety
• Life-Saving Medicines for those in need
• Beans and Rice to nourish our workers and families
• Fuel to power our outreach efforts
I invite you to stand with us in this critical mission by making a donation today. Every contribution, no matter how small, plays a vital role in restoring health and dignity to our community. Support us at: http://www.johndaufoundation.com/donate)
Your generosity not only provides immediate relief but also sends a powerful message of solidarity and compassion to the resilient people of Duk County. Together, we can rebuild lives and inspire a brighter future.
Thank you for considering this urgent appeal. As we embrace the spirit of giving this fall, let’s commit to uplifting those in need. I am deeply grateful for your continued support and belief in our mission. 💖
