A beautiful collage of a father and son on this mission trip. The father led a group of young novice monks (they are orphans) while the son carried an old monk to clinic. Two events happened on two different clinic days but we can see the beautiful image of generation helping generation: The old helps the young and the young helps the old.

Day 11 of mission - Last day of mission. We had a half day clinic, serving 300+ patients in Mui Ne before heading back to Saigon and saying our goodbye! Some team members left little early to catch their flight tonight.

Wishing each and every volunteer of our Vietnam 2024 mission a safe travel back home! Thank you all for everything that you did to make this mission such a successful one! We served more than 3000+ patients in the past 10 days and brought so much joy and happiness to those we served. Sakya Care Foundation hope you had a wonderful time doing some meaningful work while making lifelong friends on this mission trip.

First day of clinic at our last location, Mũi Né- Phan Thiết. We had to turn away quite a few patients today but hope to serve them on Sunday. Majority of our patients today are the orphans and the blinds. Seeing them reminds us to treasure this life that we currently have and appreciate everything. 🙏🙏🙏

After a long day of work, it’s time for dinner! Time to relax! Time to enjoy Da Lat and its night market!

Work hard! Play hard! Our volunteers get to spend their evening exploring the city, enjoying the tropical fruits, shopping with the locals and even getting a massage!

The smile of happiness! The tears of joy! Our team members spent sometimes with the orphan children at Dieu Phap temple. A bus full of the blinds and disabled people also joined us here so we can share our love with them. We distributed care packages to each and everyone of them. Thank you to all sponsors for your generous donation and support so we can bring little joy to these underserved populations.

We have such a dedicated team of professionals and general volunteers on this mission trip! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to make this mission possible! Seven more days to deliver the best quality healthcare to those in need with compassion, understanding and love!

***Medical Department: 5 MD/DO, 2 NP, 6 RN, 3 LPN/MA
***Dental Department: 9 Dentists, 2 Dental Assistants
***Vision Department: 4 Optometrists, 2 Optometric Technicians
***Pharmacy Department: 10 Pharmacists, 1 Pharm Tech

Plus many general volunteers from different career paths like IT, Public Health, Accountant ect. We also have a group of strongly motivated and enthusiastic high school and college students.

On top of these US volunteers, we have many other local professionals and volunteers at each clinic location.
