Good evening friends and family. As most of you know our community was hit hard with tornadoes this past weekend. We all seem to know someone directly or indirectly affected by this. It is during these trying times that we come together and comfort each other. That being said, our office has gotten together and decided to take donations for those in need. If you would like to bring donations by the office our girls will get these items to those in need. Some of the items that are needed are clothes (All ages and genders), shoes, food (non perishable), tarps, ect. This is such a hard time for these families as we are coming into the Holiday season. Our office just wants to try to help as much as we can. Thank you!!

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, there will be changes in our office Protocol.

We will continue to maintain the utmost sanitation standards set by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We are also following recommendations set by American Dental Association (ADA) and Oklahoma Dental Association (ODA) and OSHA guidelines.

All employees are to practice frequent handwashing with soap and water and stay home if they are sick. They are required to wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), sanitize all Operatories and equipment between patients. Counters, all door handles, desks, tables, card readers, and sinks, will be wiped down multiple times throughout the day.

All patients will be subject to a screening questionnaire when they call to make an appointment and when they arrive at the office for their appointment. Patients will also have a temperature reading when they arrive for their appointment. Patients with temperature of 100.4 will be rescheduled.
Waiting rooms are closed. Patients will need to call when arriving at the office, a staff member will meet you outside to complete your questionnaire and take your temperature. Once completed we will text or call you when we are ready to take you directly to the operatory. In the operatory, patients will wash their hands & be asked to do a mouth rinse with Peroxide. If you do not have a cell phone to call when you arrive, please come inside to the front desk for further direction.

The patient will be the only person allowed in the building; other family members will need to stay in the car. One adult may accompany any patient 6 or younger.

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus:
• Fever
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Chills
• Repeated shaking with chills
• Muscle pain
• Headache
• Sore throat
• New loss of taste or smell

Please call our office to reschedule if you have any of the above-mentioned symptoms. We also ask that you reschedule if you have traveled out of state in the last month, have been diagnosed or come in contact with any person that has been diagnosed with the virus, or if you are in the high-risk category.

We recognize that this is a time filled with uncertainties for everyone and we want to assure you of our commitment to provide you with the services you depend on. We promise to keep you updated through this dynamic situation, and we look forward to making you smile! Please call us with any questions or concerns. We will be contacting all our previously appointed patients to begin rescheduling shortly, please understand it may take several weeks for us to accommodate your needs. We ask for your patience during this time.

Best Wishes,

Hampton Family Dentistry

Dear Patients and Families,

The ADA and CDC has issued recommendations for Dental Offices and their patients regarding COVID-19. The dental profession is in the highest risk category for transmission and contraction of COVID-19.

Effective March 18th we will close the office until further notice. We hope to reopen April 6th, but that is still undetermined at this time. As soon as we are advised that it is safe to open we will do so. Until then please join us in following all recommendations given.

Only treat patients requiring emergency procedures.

Postpone all elective dental treatment.

Stay home.

In light of this situation our office will be following these recommendations. All non-essential appointments will be rescheduled. If you have a dental emergency please reach out by calling the office at (405)736-0066 and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. We will have staff on hand answering phones and returning calls.

We appreciate your understanding in this difficult time and look forward to returning to a normal schedule soon.

Best Wishes,
Michael Hampton DDS
