Where is the pain & stiffness?
What is the injury?

What is the purpose of a TENS unit in chiropractic treatment?

(TENS), Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation.

When there is a pain, the muscles around the area go into contraction to restrict the movements of that area for protection. That itself will add to more pain. The electrodes sends frequencies that will pe*****te these muscles, causing relaxation of these muscles. This is a tool that will make the adjustment of these structures easier and even possible.
