At Signature Hospice of Oklahoma, compassionate care starts with the people who lead our team.

Meet our Medical Director, Dr. Robert "Bob" Dimski. With more than 20 years of hospice experience and deep roots in the Midwest City community, Dr. Dimski is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care for patients and meaningful support for families during life’s most delicate transitions.

“I want to be part of a team of caregivers focused on providing personalized, compassionate care to patients in their last days on this earth and supporting their families through the sometimes difficult transition.”

We are proud to have leaders like Dr. Dimski who embody the heart of hospice care every day. 🤍

At Signature Hospice of Oklahoma, purpose isn’t just a concept; it’s our calling.

Our CEO, Kip, recently attended a leadership luncheon at EOC Technology Center focused on the Purpose Formula, and it perfectly aligns with the heart of our mission: helping every person feel known, valued, and loved for every minute through their last minute.

That purpose guides how we serve, support, and show up for our patients and their families each day.

Celebrating birthdays never gets old; it only gets more meaningful. 🎂

At Signature Hospice of Oklahoma, honoring a patient’s birthday is one of our favorite ways to connect, celebrate life, and create special moments with the people and families we serve. Each year is a gift, and we’re grateful to help make those days feel seen, valued, and full of heart.

We recently had the privilege of sitting down with Kip McElwee of Signature Hospice of Oklahoma. We quickly learned that for Kip, hospice isn’t just a career—it’s a promise kept.

Long before Kip owned a hospice company, she stood where so many of us have: at the bedside of a loved one. In those quiet, difficult moments, she saw the profound difference that true end-of-life care can make. She witnessed how the right team—nurses, chaplains, and volunteers—can transform an overwhelming experience into one filled with peace, dignity, and humanity.

That experience changed her forever. It became the blueprint for Signature Hospice. Today, Kip leads with the belief that hospice, at its core, is beautiful. It is a calling built on integrity and the simple, powerful mission to ease fear and honor every individual’s story.

We left our meeting inspired by her commitment to ensuring every family receives the compassion they deserve when it matters most. Learn more about their heart for care at https://www.signaturehospiceok.com/

Freezing temperatures 🥶 are a good reminder for caregivers to do a quick winter check-in on loved ones:

• Make sure heaters are working safely
• Check that blankets and warm clothing are within reach
• Ensure medications and supplies won’t be delayed by weather
• Confirm someone can be reached if power goes out

Small checks can make a big difference in comfort and safety during cold weather.

If caring for a loved one feels overwhelming this winter, hospice support can help lighten the load so you can focus on being present, not just prepared.

At Signature Hospice of Oklahoma, we strive to embody the principles Dame Cicely Saunders championed. Our mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive and dignified care for individuals facing life‑limiting illnesses.

We recognize that every moment matters and that holistic care — addressing physical, emotional and spiritual needs — allows patients to live fully during life’s most tender moments.

Like Saunders, we believe that hospice care is more than medical treatment; it is about walking alongside patients and families with kindness, integrity and respect.

Our concierge‑style hospice services include personalized care plans, 24/7 availability, symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, and family education. These offerings reflect the interdisciplinary, holistic approach Saunders pioneered.

Planning ahead doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. When you’re caring for a loved one, having the right end-of-life documents in place can bring clarity, comfort, and peace of mind during a difficult season.

At Signature Hospice of Oklahoma, we help families understand and navigate important documents, including:
• Advance Directives / Living Wills
• DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) orders
• Healthcare Power of Attorney
• Organizing paperwork for next steps

Our team is here to answer questions, explain options, and help locate the right forms, so you don’t have to figure it out alone.
