2014:
My journey to getting myself fit and healthy began a few years ago. After the birth of my daughter I gained a significant amount of weight and began to have an array of health problems. Some of those problems included extreme back pain, sciatic nerve pain, and major intestinal discomfort and pain. After having a major health scare and needing to have a colonoscopy to rule out intestinal cancer I decided it was time to take back my life. I was tired of not having enough energy to chase after my little ones and living with the fear that as a young woman I wouldn't be able to do all the things I can do now. and I am the fittest I have ever been in my life. By making changes in my diet, practicing yoga and meditation, and adopting a more active lifestyle I am now a lot happier, healthier, and able to handle the stresses of life easier. I am so excited to share with you how I got to be a healthier me.
