Roupp Funeral Home is honored to collaborate with the SUN Nurses Honor Guard to provide Nurses Honor Guard services free of charge for any licensed nurse, active or retired, in Snyder, Union, and Northumberland counties.

Nurses dedicate their lives to caring for others, offering compassion, strength, and comfort during life’s most vulnerable moments. Through this partnership, compassionate volunteer nurses come together to provide a final tribute honoring the life, service, and legacy of a fellow caregiver.

🕊️ If you would like to request a Nurses Honor Guard tribute for your loved one, services can be arranged in collaboration with your family, funeral home, or place of worship.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Free Advanced Planning Seminar last week!

It was a privilege to see so many individuals and families take time to learn more about advance planning, ask thoughtful questions, and start important conversations for the future. We shared guidance on burial and cremation options, veterans and Medicaid planning, and common challenges families face when decisions are made during times of grief.

So much love this Valentine’s Day 💗

Each year, we partner with Mifflinburg Elementary & Intermediate Schools and Kids of the Kingdom in Lewisburg to create Valentine’s that we’re honored to deliver to Oak Glen Nursing Home, Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Heritage Springs, Memory Care, and Celebration Villa in Lewisburg, as well as Rolling Hills Manor in Milmont.

Thank you to the students and teachers who created heartfelt Valentine’s, and to the nursing homes and care communities who welcomed us so warmly. Seeing the joy these cards brought to residents was truly special.
