As we get close to this major winter storm, I want to remind everyone to not call dispatch centers for information about road conditions. The phone lines at our dispatch centers need to remain open for emergency calls.

Go to 511in.org for a live interactive map where you can see road conditions from around the entire state. The same information can be found on the INDOT Trafficwise app.

You can see the live view from the stationary INDOT cameras along interstates and state highways. You can see where the INDOT plow trucks are working and can even see the view from those trucks via their mounted cameras.

Road conditions will be hazardous over the next two days so, if possible, please…

In anticipation of the Winter Storm moving into the area, there will be NO STREET PARKING on all City of Lawrenceburg streets effective at 8am on Sunday, January 5, 2025 until further notice.

Please utilize off-street parking to ensure our roadways are treated for ice, cleared of snow safely & efficiently as crews will be working around the clock as needed.

Msg from Ripley County, IN: For The Town of Milan: A Boil Water Advisory remains in effect until further notice. This is a safety precaution to ensure no contaminants are in the water after repairs. The Advisory will be lifted when IDEM testing is completed.

UPDATE:

The search for Carson Hughes continues. Multiple public safety agencies, non-profits and several hundred volunteers have been conducting a search for Carson for over 48 hours now. There is a significant number of resources and equipment coming in and out of the park as part of the ongoing efforts. The park is currently still open; however, the primary search area is closed to the public. DNR has registered over 500 people in the past 2 days that are volunteering to search the grounds.

The Versailles State Park Joint Unified Command is currently being led by the Indiana Conservation Officers and the Ripley County Sheriff's Office. The following agencies are part of the Multi Agency Incident Management.
