Jackson Police Execute Search At North Jackson Business; Warn Public Of Dangerous, High-Potency Unregulated THC Products

[JACKSON, TN] — On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 19, 2026, investigators with the Jackson Police Department’s Vice Unit, assisted by the West Tennessee Dangerous Drugs Taskforce, executed a search warrant at North Park Express, located at 3542 North Highland Ave.

The enforcement action followed a thorough investigation initiated by multiple community complaints alleging that the business was selling alcoholic beverages and va**ng products to minors. During the search, authorities collected samples of Delta-9 THC products available for purchase. Preliminary testing revealed that these products contained chemical concentrations that far exceeded state-mandated legal limits, with some samples testing at more than 100 times the legal limit.

The Jackson Police Department is issuing an urgent warning to residents regarding the severe dangers of purchasing or consuming these unregulated, high-potency substances. Because these products are manufactured outside of legal safety protocols, they present immediate and unpredictable health hazards. JPD strongly advises the public against purchasing any unregulated vapes or hemp-derived supplements.

The investigation remains active, and charges are pending. Anyone with information regarding the illegal sale of products to minors or the distribution of unregulated substances is encouraged to contact the Jackson Police Department Vice Unit at 731-425-8400.

Last fall the Gibson County Op**te Abatement Council provided jumbotron screens for the gymnasiums of all six high schools in the county. We are proud to partner with them and the Milan Prevention Coalition in the prevention of drug and alcohol use by sharing their advertisements during events held in the gymnasium.
