💙 Pinwheels for Prevention 💙

Milan Middle School students planted pinwheels this week to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Week. Each pinwheel is a symbol of hope and a reminder that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and loved.

Together, we can make a difference by looking out for one another and creating a community where all children can thrive.

GCHS MOCK CRASH 26 🚨💥 On Tuesday, April 7th, in Dyer, TN, the Gibson County High School Junior and Senior classes participated in a Mock Crash event designed to highlight the dangers of distracted and impaired driving. This impactful event was made possible thanks to the tireless efforts of Dana Garner, Amy Richardson, Joe Sykes, and Tammy Cunningham of the local Prevention Coalition, as well as the School Administration, and all emergency services who helped make this event a huge success! 🙏 Student actors included Rachel Edward's, Olivia Campbell, Kenzie Loeffel, Jack Ball, Logan Gonzales, Lauren Freeman, Claire Reed, and Madi Neely, who all did an amazing job of bringing this important message to life. 🎉 The Mock Crash event aimed to raise awareness about the devastating consequences of driving under the influence and distracted driving, and to encourage students to make responsible choices behind the wheel. By simulating a real-life crash scenario, the event provided a powerful and thought-provoking experience for all who attended. 🚗💔 We are grateful to everyone involved in making this event a success and hope that it will have a lasting impact on our students. Special thanks to first responders who bring this event to life, and to Bradford Special Coordinated School Healthh and the Gibson County Health Council who work to coordinate and organize these important events. #988 1800-889-9789
