Humidifiers, especially during the winter when your furnace can dry the air in your home, can help your immune system remain intact and ready to protect you from illness.

I set mine at 50% humidity.

Pure, distilled water, is ok.

But the infusers may not be.

Oh, and clean your machines weekly with soap and water.

(mucous membranes in the nose, mouth and throat can dry out and create small fissures which can allow viruses and bacteria in. Higher humidity helps you avoid this)
