Welcome to the Sullivan County Breastfeeding Support Group. The purpose of this group is to share and discuss information about our Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. We believe that as a mom, you deserve support no matter how you decide to feed your baby.

Breastfeeding classes at Sullivan County Health Department on June 6th, from 9:00am - 1:00pm. New class starts every 30 minutes.

Hey mamma's! I want to first introduce myself, my name is Miranda Shipley, the breastfeeding coordinator with the Sullivan County Health Department. We here at the health department have teamed up to bring you a new group that is geared towards providing you, the mamas the opportunity to come together with other moms to talk about and confide in one another about the joy's of breastfeeding and motherhood. This group will also serve as an outlet to ask any questions or show any concerns related to breastfeeding and motherhood. It is our goal to help you create the best way of mothering possible by being here to guide you with any questions you may have. It is our goal to bring together moms of all kinds whether breastfeeding or not to bond and relax while talking about our pride and joys. There will be times set that best meet everyone's availability. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
