🎉✨ Today we had the joy of celebrating a very special milestone — a 95th birthday at Peaceful Pines! 🥳💐 Our birthday star was surrounded by laughter, love, and plenty of sweet treats during her favorite activity, “Happy Hour”! 🍷 At 95, Ede is full of life, smiles, and stories to share — what an inspiration to us all! 💕🎂

We tried something new today—Farm Bingo! 🐄🌾🐓 Our residents had so much fun matching farm animals, crops, and country life to their bingo cards. Lots of laughter, smiles, and a few lucky winners! 💛

🌟 That’s a wrap on National Assisted Living Week! 🌟

We closed out the week with “Fiesta Friday” 💃🏼🌮, enjoying nachos for lunch, and playing bingo while sipping on refreshing virgin margaritas🍹🧉. It was an amazing and exciting week filled with laughter, fun, and community spirit. Now it’s time to kick back, relax, and soak in all the wonderful memories we made! 💚 We’re so thankful andappreciative of our amazing staff who made this week extra special for our residents! 🫶🏻

Day #4 of National Assisted Living Week was a busy and beautiful one! 🇺🇸 Our theme today was “Patriotic Day”, and our residents showed their spirit by dressing in red, white, and blue. We kicked off the fun with a classic American favorite—Cornhole—then enjoyed a delicious grill out together! Later, we took a scenic drive to the Abbey of the Hills, where we admired the early signs of fall in the trees. The afternoon was filled with sunshine, refreshing lemonade, and a little pampering for the ladies. ❤️🤍💙

Day 3 of National Assisted Living Week is in the books! 🎉 Today’s theme was Community Pride, and our residents proudly showed their support for the Milbank Bulldogs 🐾 and our wonderful local businesses. We enjoyed a shopping trip to the local consignment & thrift store, a tasty pizza lunch from Casey’s 🍕, live music by Richard, Earl & Jan 🎶, and ended the day with our favorite Wednesday tradition—Happy Hour! 🥂🥃🍾

Day 2️⃣ of our “Ageless Adventure” week called for “Nature Day”. In true SD fashion, Mother Nature kept us from going on our planned outing to Lake Farley ☹️🌧️ But, we made the best of it by getting our steps in inside, trying a new game of Ladderball, and cozied up in the theater for a movie 🎥 The management team worked on passing out our employee appreciation bags today, and we couldn’t be more thankful! 💚
