Looks like the Easter Bunny 🐰 made a stop at Peaceful Pines…This crew was quick on the hunt, spotting every last egg and enjoying the sweet rewards that followed. Safe to say, a little friendly competition and a lot of laughter filled the day. Just another reason we love celebrating life together 💛🌷

Despite the white snow on the ground, we’re thinking spring! 🌷🌹🍅🥒 Our wonderful care staff helped our residents plant some flowers and vegetables to watch grow in the windowsill!

These little sprouts will bring color and excitement as we watch their progress over the next several months! ☀️🌱

Last Thursday night, we hosted our first annual Easter Bingo event, and we were SO amazed by the turnout!!!

Thank you to our residents, their families & our friends in the community to make this event a success. All proceeds will be used for residents' summer adventures! 🐣🍬☀️

Whether you came for the prizes, the community, or just for a friendly game, we were glad to see you! We wish you all a Happy Easter and spring season filled with hope and joy 😊💚

🇺🇸 National Vietnam War Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor and thank the men and women who served during the Vietnam War, including many of the Veterans and families we are privileged to know right here at Peaceful Pines.

Through our partnership with Patriot Angels, we help Veterans and their surviving spouses explore the VA Aid & Attendance benefit, a tax-free monthly pension that can help cover the cost of senior living and care for those who qualify. As a small way of saying thank you, Peaceful Pines waives the community fee for eligible Veterans working with Patriot Angels, helping families focus on care, comfort, and community.

If you or someone you love served during a wartime period, you may have benefits you didn’t even realize were available. Today, we honor your service and stand ready to help you explore the support you’ve earned.

🧇 International Waffle Day turned into one of those mornings you wish you could slow down. The smell of waffles filled the room, mimosas were poured, and conversations carried from one table to the next. Some residents lingered a little longer, sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying the kind of morning that just feels easy.

It’s moments like these, simple, shared, and full of life that remind us what it really means to live life together.

🐶🐾 We celebrated National Puppy Day with a few precious furry friends! Safe to say… they stole the show and a few hearts along the way!

Living Life Together, no matter what the weather brings. It’s been a cold, windy winter, so we’ve been getting a little creative indoors and having a lot of fun doing it. From homemade bread baking to a hands-on “science experiment” making ice cream in a bag (yes, lots of shaking involved!), there’s always something new to try.

We’ve kept moving with exercise, stayed sharp with puzzles and Bingo, and even sparked a little friendly competition with a residents vs. staff tug-of-war. We put our own twist on skee-ball, and of course, nothing beats a visit from a four-legged friend to brighten the day.

Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean things slow down around here. Come join the fun!

St. Patrick’s Day party was a hit! We enjoyed trivia, guess-the-number-of-coins, & a combo of hot potato & musical chairs! We had a lot of laughs while enjoying our mint choc chip ice cream donated by the Catholic Daughters & the beautiful placements decorated by the St. Lawrence 5th grade class!
