We’ve been busy celebrating Assisted Living week! Monday we “shook” it up with milk shakes and bingo,
Tuesday we exercised with Judy and then tapped our toes to Janice and friends in the afternoon!
Today residents got treated to steak and shrimp cooked by Luke, the best cook in town! Then we had our pie and ice cream social which was quite the hit! And we still have lots to celebrate the rest of the week!

Our featured staff member on this nurse's week, we would like to tell you about our nurse Jennifer- (Jen) as most call her Jen is the mother to her 3 kids along with 3 bonus stepsons. She has several pets, Tippy, Rocky & Cheeto for cats, and a new puppy Ginger. Jen's favorite food is pasta. Her favorite sports team are the Minnesota Twins. When asked about the favorite part of her job, she says, "getting to know the resident's and their families" and hearing them say " you're my favorite nurse and you deserve to be treated as well as you treat us". When asked what her past times are, she loves to travel west to the Black Hills, Deadwood or far away to Disney in Florida. If not traveling (or working) she loves doing anything with her kids, watching sporting events, going for walks & bike rides, going to parks, playing board games and doing crafts. Jen is a great nurse, and the staff and residents appreciate all she does for them.

We had a special guest visit us on Easter Sunday that brought some big smiles to our residents. We also got some Easter egg coloring in that brought back some good memories of their childhood!
