🦷Our office will be closed Thursday, 5/14/26 and Friday, 5/15/26 so that our doctors and staff can attend the South Dakota Dental Association annual session. Dr. Johnson serves the SDDA as the President-elect, and Dr. Holmquist serves as a delegate. Our office will be open regular hours again on Monday, 5/18/26. 🦷

Happy Dental Assistant's Week to these lovely ladies! Brittney, Kylie, Cassie, McKenzie, & Kayla, we appreciate everything that you do all day, every day for our staff and patients! We are blessed with the best assistants. We also have a fantastic dental assistant in training, Jocelyn, who is with us for the next few weeks doing her clinicals.

February was a very busy month both at the office and in the community. A huge shout out to Robin, who visited all of the Milbank preschool, junior kindergarten, and kindergarten classes and taught the kids about dental health for National Children's Dental Health Month! A few of our other team members joined Robin on her school visits, and everyone had a lot of fun.

We were so happy to have these girls visit us last week. February is National Children's Dental Health Month. Kalli, 7, loves coming to the dental office. Quinn, 4, is also very comfortable in the dental chair. Collyns, 2, is just starting to get comfortable at the dental office, and she did great!
🦷We recommend a child's first dental visit between the age of 18-24 months (unless there is a concern prior to this age). If your child is older and hasn't been to the dentist yet, we can see them at any age.
🦷Sometimes the first dental visit is just a ride in the chair. Sometimes we can do a cleaning & complete exam (& a ride in the chair). We work with kids on their level of ability and readiness and try to make the dental office fun.
🦷We love seeing kids of all ages!

This morning after seeing patients for a few hours, Robin, Kylie, Dr. Holmquist, and McKenzie attended Career Fair Day at Milbank High School. It's always fun to visit with the high schoolers and talk with them about their future plans!
